How the heck does this work????

This plugin has been created to let you search for the information within custom post types. In case you do not have any custom posts, you will only see “No custom post type found” statement in the settings. You can install plugins that add custom posts, such as:

Then you will see the option to choose the added custom posts on the plugin settings page.

That is deceptive advertisement. It should not be called Custom Search but Custom Posts Search. Also when mouse over a plugin it says ‘Allows to extend your website search functionality by adding a custom post type’. Which is blsht.

We kindly ask you to specify, why do you believe it to be “deceptive advertisement?”
The plugin allows searching by custom posts content, if they are selected on the plugin settings page. What exactly in your opinion is imprecise in plugin description in regard to its functions?

Also, it is not entirely clear to us, why do you believe that plugin title – “Custom Search” – does not correspond to plugin functions. Could you please specify the functions you would expect to get from the plugin named “Custom Search?”
