I have migrated wordpress site from one host to another host. domain name, url are the same. Only change is host.
Following is the procedure I have followed after checking so many forums.
    1. Created new database in new host and imported sql file
    2. Copies wordpress files new host
    3. Edited wp-config.php with new database name, username, password
    4. New host nameservers are pointed (verified)

I got few problems in the starting. but some how managed to make the site running. But the issue now is
How to access wordpress dashoard? usually we install wordpress from host where we get url, username, password. But while migrating I haven’t installed wordpress in new host, its just a transfer of wordpress files from old host to new host. so I am wondering how to workaround with it?
Please help me to fix this. I need to add some data on priority basis.

    site: ramcosa.in
If i add wp-admin at the end it redirects to a page where members of the site ramcosa.in would register.

  • Have you tried going to yourdomain.com/wp-admin? (where ‘yourdomain.com’ is whatever domain you’re actually using)

    Hi Susan,
    Yes I did try
If i add wp-admin at the end it redirects to a page where members of the site ramcosa.in would register.
    site: ramcosa.in

that looks like a normal WordPress dashboard login screen to me, just with some rebranding. You should be able to enter your administrator username and password there and get to the dashboard. Do you have a username and password?

No. because I’ve transferred this site from other host just today.
I do not know what is dashboard url as I have not installed wordpress(as stated i just copied files from old host to new host)
If I add wp-admin it is going to login page that looks like dashboard. but If i register in that window it takes me to the site. not the dashboard even you can try the same.

I do not have any extra username and password

    Fixed.

Go to host PhpMyAdmin > select database > select wp-users > In the data I have changed the password and username for admin.

    It worked.
Thanks for taking time to help
