How to add a custom sub element?

eg:

<gallery>
<image>example.jpg</image>
</gallery>

In this example, the “gallery” item is not on the web page, only the “image” item. but for example. I want to put the “gallery” item in the “image” sub element creating a hierarchy of sorts.
