How to add a left sidebar into cordobo green park 2

  • Since Cordobo Green Park 2 comes with only right sidebar.
    How do I add an additional “left sidebar”? I tried modifying the sidebar.php but wouldn’t help.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

  • If you are not experienced in css/html/php I think you are better off to go with a new theme.

    do77 is right. You should have a profund knowledge of CSS/HTML (php is not necessary) if you want to add a 2nd sidebar on the left side.

    I probably add a 2nd one as an alternative to the next release.

    I’m comfortable with css and html. Little bit on php as well, at least can customize little bit code. You can let me know. Let’s give it a try

    hey aridas99.. you probably have to add a second column (table) at the main index.php file. look at the original file how the existing bar was executed. Good luck! ??

    Find a theme with multiple widget-ready sidebars and look in its code to see how it’s done and then adapt it for your theme. Note: Themes with a lot of customizable dashboard options are not a good choice for code snooping because their code is usually too complex.

    I try to find the time to add some options to the admin panel for the next release so everybody can easily change between 1 and 2 sidebars.

    That would be wonderful. I would like to have left sidebar as well.
