how to add a link to text in side images

You can do this by highlight the word or sentence and then clicking on the chain link in the text editor

Because I created my image on Photoshop it does not recognized text. Its just a solid image so I can’t high light any text. Is there a way to add text on top of the image and set up the link that way???
