How to add a link to the top bar?

    I might such at describing this. For example take the twenty ten theme there is a black top bar(navigation bar?) which has the home link and etc. when we add pages it is added to the list. I want to add a link in it to redirect to another folder(forum). Next to the home I want to add a link to the forum. How can I do so?

    Check maybe your theme has custom menus support (Appearance -> Menus). If it does, add your link in the menu from there.

    Else, hardcode your wp theme(header.php file) or edit the theme to support custom menus.

    I am using the twenty ten theme at the moment to develop the site and it does support custom menus. I got the links to display in the navigation bar by adding a menu.
