How to add a menu items that links to main page?

I’m new, really new to wordpress so bare with me. I posted this question yesterday and cannot seem to find a link to it in my profile, so I’m asking again.

I just want to create a menu item that links to my main page. I’ve tried, but I don’t see anyway to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated. I never created a “home” page, just jumped in and started creating.
