Some searches say there is a shortcode under Widgets in the Add Block Component popup but I cannot see.

Ignore question. I had no idea the shortcode target is not supposed to show in the editor, just the ‘viewable’ page.

For future searchers… just enter the shortcode into say a paragraph.

    Hi @thomasaj,
There is a shortcode block in the editor, please see this video – https://d.pr/v/Ezh0fR

    Hope this helps ??

Thanks but I do not see what you have shown me. I am using “Post and Page Builder”.

Is that a Blocksy editor? It seems to be the default.

    Hello @thomasaj

Yes, that is the normal post/page editor. Simply click on the plus, or type /shortcode to enable the shortcode block, then simply insert the shortcode into the field that appears, just like my colleague showed you ??

    Thanks

“type to choose a block” does not exist on the “Post and Page Builder” editor. All I can do is add media and blocks.
When I choose blocks there is no field to enter a search for shortcode and shortcode does not exist in the selectables.

So I added a new page, changed editor to WordPress Editor, and “type to choose a block” does exist and I can type /shortcode.

    Hey @thomasaj

Oooh… I see now. The “Post and Page Builder” is an actual separate plugin which takes advantage of the old editor.

You should be able to simply insert the shortcode like this [shortcode] right inside the body of the editor. That should work, because that’s how the old editor worked like.

Can you give this a try?

    Thanks
