• When I installed wordpress, it asked me for a username, etc, but now, I don’t really want all my posts to use my regular username.
I would like to add another Admin account called ‘Admin’, but I’m not sure how to do it…..I’ve used my host’s control panel with mysqladmin, using INSERT, but that didn’t work – I get a msg that I’m not authorized.

I’m kind of new at this, so I don’t know the processes for new accounts.
Could someone tell me how to get this accomplished?

  • Go to your Dashboard, click Users, and then add a new user with the administrator role. Log out, and then log in with the new admin account.

Will this allow all settings, or can you customize your settings?
