How to add Blog Posts AND Sidebars to the static homepage

  • I bought this theme from themeforest.net I really like the static homepage but I want to add at least one featured blog post and sidebars with recent posts. but i am not sure what to do. does anyone have advice or a site to look up to do this. thanks my website is gracefulexposures.com
