Right now I have “cart” as part of my WP nav menu. I’d prefer an icon over just the word cart and even better if the icon would show if the customer has items in their cart. I’ve seen mention of a built-in WC cart icon that can be added to the menu.

The problem is that the directions for adding this that I’ve found involve going to:
    Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Design

But I don’t have that option. When I go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce, there is only: Store Notice, Product Catalog, Product Images & Checkout. I’m not sure if this has been moved somewhere else in a later version, removed from the plug-in or just never was built-in and the instructions I’m seeing are particular to some other theme than the one I’m using.

  • Hi @earmsby,

The display of cart icon views is controlled by the theme and not by WooCommerce. I recommend reaching out to your theme support, so they can check and guide you if there’s a way to change the cart icon.

    I hope that helps1
