• Hello everyone,

    I want to add the category, filtering and search functionalities on the Case Studies page

    Currently, there is only one column there. I want to change it to a 3*2 grid (3 horizontal, and 2 vertical).

    I compared several ways to achieve that, such as Search & Filter, Elementor editing, Templates (Loop Grid), Pages (Edit Loop Gird). However, none of them look good.

    Does any one have any suggestion?

  • You would have to customize the layout with Elementor, since your template is built on top of it. If you have any questions about this, I would recommend their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/

    The filter function again depends on what the data records were created with. I think Case Study is a custom post type for you? How did you create it? There you would have to add additional properties to the post type which could then be used as a filter. As soon as the data has been prepared, you can certainly set up a corresponding filter via Elementor.

    @threadi Hi, You are correct that the Case Study is a CTP built by a website service vendor several years ago. But I did not get involved in the website building. That is the reason why I am not very clear about how to add properties to achieve categorization and filtering. I will look further into it via Elementor. Thanks!!
