    Hi all,

I have been trying to use blog posts for the first time and I have difficulties understanding how to set up custom permalinks for my blog posts.

In the URL provided ([ redundant link removed ]) the is a list of blog posts all belonging to a category called “insights”. When a user clicks a post this is the URL of the post: /post-1/

What I’m trying to do is change that URL of every post so that it would be with the category name. This is what I want: /insights/post-n/

I want to do this because I’m planning in using multiple posts and categories in the future! Any help would be much appriciated!

  • In your WordPress dashboard, please navigate to “Settings > Permalinks” and click on “Custom Structure” option. Input following in the “Custom Structure” option:

    /%category%/%postname%/

Hi @wpcoworker. Thanks for your reply. It works great! I haven’t tried it before because I thought it would fix my issue but break every other link, apparently not. Thanks again!

    Hey all,

I have been attempting to utilize blog entries interestingly and I experience issues seeing how to set up custom permalinks for my blog entries.

In the URL gave ([ repetitive connection eliminated ]) the is a rundown of blog entries all having a place with a classification called “experiences”. At the point when a client clicks a post this is the URL of the post:/post-1/

What I’m attempting to do is change that URL of each post so it would be with the class name. This is the thing that I need:/experiences/post-n/

I need to do this since I’m arranging in utilizing numerous posts and classes later on! Any assistance would be much appreciated!
