How to add content to home page?

    I am really enjoying the Virtue theme and have been able to figure out all I’ve needed thus far. I am finally stumped and I bet the solution is simple, but I can’t think of it myself.

    I want to be able to add content to the home page, just a paragraph or two of text (preferably towards the bottom of the page). I went into the theme settings and saw a “page content” widget which I added to the “enabled” column. But now I don’t see any changes nor do I know where I can add said content.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Hey!

    The “Page content” area of your home page layout is set within the page edit screen of your home page.

    Be sure that in Settings> Reading, you’re using a static page as your home page, otherwise it will display differently. (unless of course you need your site’s home page to be a blog)

    Once your home page is setup, you can go into “edit page” when you’re on the home page, and assign your page content there.
