How To Add Costum "Popular Posts & Recent Posts"

  • So I’m setting up my new blog with the Ribbon theme. One thing that I’ve noticed is that all the popular blogs use their own custom widgets with their own design so it matches the theme.

    Take a look at the Ribbon theme Demo and look at the right, there you see one for example and I’m wondering, what is the best way to make your own “Popular Posts & Recent Posts” widget?

    (Overall I just want to be able to add my own design to every sidebar widget like everyone else does).
