How to add Event Tags to the Event registration Form

    Hi,
    I need to add the Event tags in the Event submission form.
    When a user enters a new event, I’d like him to be able to select the event tags linked to that event, is there a shortcode for that? it seems obvious to me that we should be able to link events with event tags but I just can’t figure it out. Also should it be added to the attributes-public.php file or some place else? Maybe I’m missing something but I could not find any info on that,

    Hi,

    this isn’t possible at the moment because a seperate script needs to be written to save them. At the moment, WP handles the saving of the tags admin-side.

    Hi,
    thanks for your response, how do you manage user created events versus admin created events then if they can’t have the same fields? any suggestions?

    Aside from tags, which we will eventually add, and other meta boxes other plugins will add, which will probably not be added anytime soon unless there’s a specific snippet for EM/otherplugin then it’s pretty much the same.

    Just checking in on this. Has this feature been enabled? Would love to add tags to the event submission form.
