ok guys, so I have 2 more pages left to complete my site. This query is regarding my “testimonials” page. I had it setup and working properly with elementos but ran into a problem with elementor plugin slowing down the site so I now would like to build a similar page using wp editor in my free theme.

If anyone can have a look at my page in question please and give me guidance on how I might achieve what I am seeking will be greatly appreciated.

I have 4 screenshots in my Media folder which were taken from my Angie’s list account years ago. I would like when viewers click on each of the 4 reviews that they expand into a larger box so would be easier to read with of course an X or close button, this is all. How might I best achieve this in free theme WP editor please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,

The Kadence theme does not provide this feature. However, try installing the Kadence Blocks plugin! Kadence Blocks offers the Show More block for free. The premium version of the plugin also has the Modal block.

Oh damn, thanks but as mentioned I am trying io avoid having to use any plugin which will most likely cause slower page loading.= so if I should have no choice but to use a plugin them I may as well leave the elementor.

I am guessing I will run into the same issue with the Q&A page.

If I might be able as another option to have them on the page normally as any image but show large and clear enough for the average reader then no need to have them expandable. Main issue is not for me to have to use any plugin. Thx.

here is one of the reviews:

    Issue solved, thanks.

    Mike Hende,
Will you share how you resolved the issue with the rest of us?
    Thanks!

I could not get the image to expand without having to use a plugin and I am not a coder so I could not make it expandable. Therefore I settled to just have it show as a regular image on the page, sorry.
