How To Add Extra Fields To Organizer Information?

    Hi,

    I’m wondering what’s the best way to go about adding extra fields to the organizer information? I know you have to register the meta then add the fields to organizer-meta-box.php, but should I be aware of any particular way of coding this?

    Also, what is the folder format to use so I can make these changes without being affected by future updates?

    I actually just solved this myself. Just in case any one else needs to figure it out, this is how I did it.

    I downloaded the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, set my custom fields, then created a new template in The Events Calendar plugin using the shortcodes from Advanced Custom Fields.
