How to add extra inventory or tickets to an event

    Hi team

    I am working with a non-profit and they need to increase the number of tickets available for a fundraising event but when they change inventory in woocommerce’s Products > product > inventory area, it changes when you view the product directly (which we don’t show the public because people need to buy tickets through your ticket interface) but there is NO CHANGE to the report that shows how many tickets are available. It seems stuck, based on the original number of tickets.

    I cannot find anybody else asking about this.

    The event is getting close, can you please share some guidance on best practice?

    @therealstevedavis When you are talking about availability, sounds like you are using the COmmunity Edition. You just need to go the the ‘Event Area’ that you setup and increase the available Capacity.

    You are correct about ‘Inventory’. The Product inventory has no bearing on events. That’s really meant for selling physical products.

    If you change the Capacity for your event you should be fine.
