Maybe this plugin doesn’t do what I want it to do: I want the store OWNER to be able to add information in additional fields about an item. e.g. “Subtitle” of an item that will be displayed on the public product page with the data that the store owner will type in (not the customer).

I have created a global field group, and added a text field ‘subtitle’ . The conditional on the field group is set to ‘authenticated = logged in’. There are no price changes involved.

I went to the single product in my test store and went to ‘custom fields’ and I don’t see that global field group. Is this not what this plugin is for?

    Hi @iwbyte

This plugin is indeed not what you are looking for. Our plugin adds form fields to Woo product pages (so the front-end of your site) so your customers can enter/select data to personalize their product.

What you need is something different. You can probably use a plugin named “ACF” (Advanced Custom Fields). The name is similar to our plugin, but the function is different. ACF can be used to add input fields to admin pages. Then you can use a page builder to display the data on the frontend.
