how to add galleries to WP2.5?

  • This feels like a really dumb question, but how does one add galleries or images to a gallery in the new media library of WordPress 2.5?

    In my Write admin, I see the toolbar buttons and can bring up the uploader. I see three tabs, “Choose File”, “Gallery (0)”, and “Media Library”. All my images ever uploaded are in the Media Library while nothing is in the Gallery tab.

    If I go to Manage > Media Library, there is nothing in there for Gallery, just the images. I’m at a loss as to how we manage galleries in this version.

    I’m surprised that there hasn’t been any (that I know of) screencasts or howtos out there yet about the media library.
