How to add images

    Hi all,

    I’m prepared to replace Cimy Header Image Rotator, running on Twenty-Eleven Theme, with Hot Random Image.

    Now I have installed Hot Random Image and deactivated Cimy Header Image Rotator.

    I found all old images of Cimy Header Image Rotator on cPanel of the hosting company

    File path:
    /public_html/hongkong/wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images/0/feature-colonial-flag_1200_288.jpg
    File path:
    /public_html/hongkong/wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images/0/hongkong_banner01_1200_288.jpg
    File path:
    /public_html/hongkong/wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images/0/hongkong_banner04_asis_world_city_1200_288.jpg
    etc.

    Please advise the steps adding the old images to Hot Random Image

    Hello,

    You should keep all the images in the same folder and enter this folder in the plugin settings. From your list, I see this folder is:

    wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images/0

    The folder should be entered relative to WordPress root folder. So, you should enter the folder as I gave you above.

    Hi Milos,

    I have done your advice on the beginning of this posting. It didn’t work. Then I download all images on computer and added them to a new folder on /uploads/year/date. Add the new folder to Hot Random Image, still fail

    Hello,

    Make sure the folder is without leading and ending slash. So, for example:

    uploads/year/date

    If it doesn’t work, please provide the link of your site and one link of the image from the folder.

    I just entered ‘wp-content/uploads/2023/10’ without quotes

    website;

    https://hongkong.satimis.com/

    I doubt whether ‘Hot Random Image’ plugin is for theme header rotation ?

    Hello,

    Yes, the correct path is “wp-content/uploads/2023/10”.

    I don’t know what you mean by “header rotation”. This plugin can work in a widget position or with a shortcode. Please read the documentation.

    I don’t know what you mean by “header rotation”.

    Now I de-activate ‘Hot Random Image’ plugin

    and
    activate ‘Cimy Header Image Rotator’ plugin

    The images on the header of Twenty-Elevent theme are rotating automatically. You can visit the website to see.

    Twenty-Elevent theme also has this feature without the plugin. But the images only rotate on changing page.
