How to add language option on General Setting?

Will the plugin translate the entire site or it has to be done manually?

I don’t really know actually, there is a lot of information if you search google about translating wordpress sites. Good luck. If it seems too difficult you could always do 2 different installs on different sites and export your current theme to the new one?

Now I have “Site Language” in my General Setting.

However, I did all that but I cant find WPLANG in additing. Its just not there. I have read that its nee version 4.0 and these files for changing language dont work there.

Can anybody confirm that they changed language for 4.0 by using .mo files?

@jekachka, there was no WPLANG in my wp-config.php either. I added define (‘WPLANG’, ‘zh_CN’) for Chinese language under one of those “define” line myself after I had opened my wp-config.php file in a text editor.
