    Hello,

I added a contact mail form on my website with two fields :
    “Your e-mail”
    “Your message”

In the field ‘message’ i set a default value in WPForms builder like that: “Hi, I am interested. Please to contact me. Thank You”

I would like add ‘line break’ in the default value but i don’t know how. I tried ‘\n’ or ‘<br>’ but doesn’t work’.

My goal is to set this default value (two lines break):
    Hi,
I am interested. Please to contact me.
    Thank You

  • Hello @azefooo,

    Thanks for writing in!

Please try using the new line html entity like this.

    I hope this helps.

This is not a good solution!
If you add the line break character proposed above it works the first time, but the next time you EDIT the form, WPForms doesn’t load the line break character in the Settings “Default Value” field so you either have to remember to reenter it EVERYTIME you edit the form or you gonna lose line breaks when you Save the next time.
Can we have a proper solution?
