How to Add Links to Biographical Info

    This is a Frequently Asked Question. By default, WordPress strips out certain HTML tags from a user’s biography text by applying wp_filter_kses on the biography text from the pre_user_description filter hook. But the HTML anchor tag is one of the allowed tags so you should be able to add links in your biography text. If you’re not, then either your theme or another plugin is modifying the default setup to strip the anchor tag. See the plugin’s FAQ #9 for more information on this.
