How to add multimedia comments in buddypress activity stream comments ?

Great add-on to a great plugin PODS. Realy simple to use and a great utility, much needed.
I am looking out for a way to transform buddypress activity stream comments into multimedia comments, is there any way this plugin can work there too ?
I wont mind doing some code and tweaks at my end.Thanks.
