    Hi, I can’t seem to figure out how to add the nofollow attribute to the Text Editor widget. It has the open in new tab.

    I have the Ultimate Nofollow plugin installed and it works okay with the regular WordPress editor, ie. the nofollow checkbox appears.

    But it doesn’t seem to want to show when I add/edit a link in the Elementor Text Editor widget.

    Hope someone can help me add the nofollow. I’m okay with switching to another nofollow plugin if that’s what’s needed.

    Thanks.

  • You could just click the Text tab instead of the Visual tab and add it into the code itself. So if your link was

    <a href="https://example.com">

    change it to

    <a href="https://example.com" rel="nofollow">

    Thanks!

    This is marked as resolved, but it isn’t really resolved, is it?

    The question was about the ability to add a rel=nofollow via the Text Edit widget by adding the checkbox under the “new tab” option. This doesn’t appear when adding a link. While the manual approach works just fine, it’s not as convenient as ticking a box…

    Guys, that’s an easy-to-do feature that will affect virtually every site owner using elementor (unless really doesn’t care about SEO, or getting traffic). This feature request is 7 months old. Any update?
