I could probably use CSS but is there a way to adjust padding.
Also i can’t seem to make the Copy button appear. Is it theme-dependent?

Hello, the available code block configuration options appear all on the right side of WordPress editor when you are into the SumaPress code block:
    – Languages
    – Themes
    – Font size px
    – Lines to show in frontend without scroll
    – Show or not lines number
    – Show or not copy button
    – Adjust position X and position Y of the copy button

There is no option to modify padding.

Depending on your theme you may have to adjust the position of the copy button because of is maybe hidden near the upper right corner of the code block on the frontend. So if you active in the backend the copy button the possibility of adjusting its position in X and Y appears just below within the options of each code block.
