How to add pdf download when user clicks form button

  • Hello all- new to WP so I will do my best to try and explain what I’m looking for.

    Basically I want to know how to make it so that when someone comes to my landing page and clicks my “get your free e-book here!” button that a pdf automatically downloads for them.

    I already have a form created within a “call to action” but right now it only gives the option of being re-directed to a different URL.
