How to add plugins and update ping list

  • Hi, I’m new to wordpress blogs and I have been trying to find ways to update my plugins and ping list for my wordpress blog, which is registered under wordpress.com. I’ve heard that the way is to use www.ads-software.com to manage the plugins and ping list but I’ve no idea where or how to start using the wordpress 2.8.6! If anyone knows about managing plugins and the ping list in any way please do offer me some advice!
