How to add ‘Print’ and ‘Email’ links to my post

I would recommend you do that in your theme. Are you comfortable editing your theme?

Is the email you want the one attached to the poster? Or is it the admin? Always the same? I might actually recommend a contact form on your site instead of an email (could see have the link to it as you other wise describe). Spam bots enjoy surfing websites to find emails. I haven’t added an email to a site for quite a long time now for this reason. I encourage people to use contact forms instead. Thoughts on that?

Yes, I am looking to add the “email-to-a friend”. I have a contact page already. I am trying to find a way to add links so people can print a post or email the post to a friend. I can design the buttons on my own, I just need to add the Jpegs as links to work these functions. I am comfortable working in my theme, everything is backed up and I copy as I work.

There is a list of plugins in this post. The second plugin in the list let’s you do the email a friend this post thing. It let’s you define how big of a snippet gets emailed and has a link to the rest. I haven’t personally tested it.

Alright, thanks Manstraw. I will check it out and see if I can modify it to do the Print thing too. Thanks again for the assistance.
