How to add product catagories

  • What your page shows at the top is the WooCommerce Product categories widget in a sidebar. The sidebar should be just on one side of course but its showing full width.

    Under that is the Shop page. This looks to be the correct width but is displaced down and to the left because the sidebar is too wide.

    You can set the sidebar arrangement at Admin page > Appearace > Customise > Layout. Works fine on my dev site. The Shop page template is set to default. Have you put in any custom css or done any hacks that may have altered the default arrangement?

    To show category images, go to Admin page > Products > Categories. When adding a category, look for the “Upload/Add image button” to add a category image.

    Next, at Admin page > WooCommerce > Settings > Products tab, set the Shop page display drop down to “Show sub-categories”.
