How to add "Read More" link?

I love this plugin, but it seems to strip out the “Continue Read” or “Read more” link. I’m trying to pull apart the plugin.php file to figure out where to add this back in, but am not having any luck.
I see a couple other users posting about how to configure this, so you’d be helping more than one person!
