How to add rich snippets

    I have been googling for a good hour or so, going around in circles, and cannot workout how to add rich snippets.
    I assumed this could be done in yoast but when I check with google I have ‘no structured data’.

    I have the meta description filled in for my pages and posts, I thought that might contribute to rich snippets but apparently not in google’s eyes.

    Any ideas?
