  • First, great job on the new social icons.
As for the search, when you say you want to have a search at the top of your website, are you wanting it somewhere else other than a widget position? Where were you wanting it?

Thanks for the help on the social icons.

With regards to the Search box/field, I was thinking of putting it after the “Resources”. That is, if there’ll be more space even after I’ve further moved the logo to the left.

Another option is placing it somewhere aligned with the social media buttons. This is because when I added a page, one of the labels across Home – Services – Benefits – & so on went down to a second row. Since social media buttons are on the right side, I’ll put the “Search” field on the left side (below the logo).

    Are these 2 options possible?

I would recommend to the right of the social icons because it would be a lot easier than changing the top header area where the logo and menu are. Or, if you float it left of the social icons but under the logo area like you mentioned, you can do that too. But make sure when you start changing the file(s) that you keep a backup copy…always good to play safe in case you had to revert back.

Oh, you mean after the YouTube icon. That’s good, too. I thought it’s not possible. So, how can I do that? ??

Well the good news is that you can do that, the bad news is that you will have to do that as theme customization is not part of support.

However, I could do it for you but that would have to be billable time which would take me one hour. If interested, contact me from my site. I would code in a search (no widget).

Can you teach me how to put the search box on top of the media buttons?

    Here is my site:

As much as I would like to, this falls outside of theme support. It’s also not really something I can say in a few short text based tutorial because of what has to be done to do this. If you really need this, I can do it for you, but it will be billable time.

Ok. May I know how much is the cost for you to work on it?

    Thanks!

Probably best to contact me from my site “Contact” form https://www.styledthemes.com for this as this something more on a personal request ?? Then I can provide you with the details and to confirm what you need done.
