How to add space between pctures?

  • I accidentally updated this plugin after having used an older version because of too many bugs in the new versions. One of the issues is that I can not make space between images. In an older version I simply just added an empty text field which resultet in a blank space. This method is not possible in the new version. Take a look at these examples:

    New version with no space between images: https://japanoholic.dk/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/11-2.jpg

    So my question is: how do I add an empty space between images like in the older version?

    I dont enjoy the new version as I can not save my work before I correct the title and I cant make a space between text when hitting enter – only when holding down shift at the same time. If anyone can remember in which version enter and saving worked correctly then that would also be helpful as I would really prefer using the version I used to.

    Hi @japanoholic,

    The reason empty text field doesn’t work anymore is because it’s not supposed to be used for adding spaces.

    When you use that, it adds unnecessary elements in the HTML and is not ideal in any case.

    For now, adding space can be done if you use custom CSS. We also have spacing controls in the pro add-on.

    Can you please explain the issue about saving? We are not aware of a saving issue related to the title. We will look further into it.

    We will also look into the enter key issue.

    I found my own solution. I just add a text box and turn the text white. A waste of time as I would prefer the easy solution that used to work. Thats why I am so annoyed that I made the mistake and updated the plugin as I really preferred the previous version with no issues whatsoever. I just cant remember which version it was.

    About the saving issues. It is not true that you have never heard about it. I have already mentioned it in another post a long time ago and it has never been fixed as I never got an answer. Here is another person who is having the same issue and he also mentions that the issue has been going on for over a year:
