Hi! I have installed your plugin in my website and I read in your documentation there’s a Spanish translation ready to be exported.
Unfortunately, I’m totally new to adding user generated translations and I have no clue what I need to do with it. What format do I export it in? Where do I upload it in my site so the plugin picks it up? I’m OK using fttp, I just need to know where it goes and how to hook it up with the plugin.
Or do I just copy/paste manually to the translation plugins you recommend?
    I’ll appreciate your directions.
    Thanks a lot,

    Marta

    Hi Marta,

If your site is setup in Spanish correctly, then the plugins settings will be in Spanish as well. I just finish installing the plugin in one of my Spanish dev sites and I can see the plugins settings in Spanish.

FTP into the following path in your server: yoursite.com/wp-content/languages/plugins.

You should see the following two files. If you don’t then something did not go well when you installed the plugin.

    stripe-payments-es_ES.mo
    stripe-payments-es_ES.po

Also make sure the following feature Idioma del sitio is set to Spanish. This feature is located in Ajustes -> Generales.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

Oh wow, you are right! It’s a new site and I didn’t realize the idioma del sitio was still set to English! Everything fine now.
    Thanks a lot!
