How to add sub-menus in Vertical menu

  • I’ve been having a difficult time finding a theme that uses a vertical menu with pages that will also display sub-menus on hover. In fact, I haven’t found a theme yet with this characeteristic.

    But I have found a theme that I’d like to use as it would lend itself to this very well. the theme is here… https://www.refueled.net/ad-clerum/

    What I would like to have is a sub-menu that will display the children of pages but only when you hover over the parent page. I’ve looked over the codex and can’t discover a way to do this. The only thing I can find is how to list sub-page depth, but that is always being displayed which is not what I want.

    Any ideas?
