How to add the total number of posts?

    How do I add the total number of posts in a category title or description?
    For example: Hod dogs – 220 recipes …..
    %%title%% – Hod dogs
    220 – %%???%% – number of entries in the hot dog category.
    %%title%% – %%???%% recipes …..

    We are afraid to say that Yoast SEO has no template variable available that would output the total number of pages assigned in a category. However, it sounds like a nice feature to have in the plugin. So, we’ll recommend you please submit the relevant feature request directly to our GitHub development repository so our development team can decide on this.
