How to add Thumbnail images to Sidebar Widgets

    Using the Poseidon theme, I have added a Recent Posts widget to my sidebar. The Poseidon Demo site shows that thumbnail images can be added to the listed items in this widget but I find no explanation for how to add the thumbnails. Can someone please help with this?

    Look at the thumbnails in the Demo site – that is what I want but I find no tutorial for that:
