How to add thumbnail list to the attachment image page?

Is there a way to add a list of image thumbnails to the attachment template?

For example in the twentyfifteen demo attachment page, aside from the next and previous arrow links, an additional thumbnail list is visible to the bottom of the image. Like the flickr gallery.
