How to add URL to sitemap

    Hello~ I have established the sitemap of my website in google search console long ago, but when I use URL Inspection to index some pages of my website, the Coverage told me that the URLs are still not submitted to the sitemap. How do I submit these pages to the sitemap~ thank you~~~

    Thanks for reaching out. As the Site Kit plugin doesn’t have any in built sitemap functionality you would be better served asking the same question to the product experts at the Search Central Help Community.

    Note that WordPress has it’s own inbuilt sitemap functionality since WordPress 5.5:

    New XML Sitemaps Functionality in WordPress 5.5

    To access your own sitemap on your WordPress site you can simply add sitemap.xml wp-sitemap.xml to your site URL, ie. yoursite.com/sitemap.xml. You can use this WordPress sitemap to submit to Search Console.
