How to add users to list of subscribers

    I like the way Jetpack subscriptions works (we use it on many sites) and I have a new site where visitors register and become users. Is there any way to add these users to the subscribers list so that they receive updates automatically? Either during the registration process, or as a manual process afterwards?

    Jetpack doesn’t allow you to import subscribers from a third-party service at the moment.

    In your case, I would suggest the following:

    1. Create a new Page on your site, named “Subscribe”
    2. Insert the following shortcode in the page content:
    [jetpack_subscription_form]
    3. After your users have registered, send them to that page.

    Alternatively, if you have a way of inserting that shortcode in the registration page somewhere, that would work too. Note that they’d receive an email from us and would need to click the link in the email in order to confirm their subscriptions.
