Hello. I have photos in both portrait and landscape orientation. I would like the thumbnails to only show landscape, similar to the way the cars demo looks, but without the white frames (cropping out some of the portrait-aligned photos in the thumbnail).

I am using the free version – for now (I have to convince the powers-that-be to spend money). I’ve looked through all the controls available, and nothing stood out to me as the solution. Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello!

In our gallery you can define proportion of the thumbnails in general gallery size section. If you define width of the gallery bigger then height in some proportions then you’ll see such landscape thumbnails like we have in our cars gallery demo.
If you don’t need any frames around gallery thumbnails so just disable borders. When you disable borders and hover borders you’ll see just gallery thumbnails with out any additional frame.
Another interface element it’s shadow of the gallery thumbnails. In our cars gallery demo we have shadow, but if you don’t need it just turn of shadow in interface settings section.
Also gallery resize images depend of the size of the original gallery images. So it’s better do not use mix of the landscape and portrait photos, because in this case it’s gonna be more complex to configure view of the gallery to have perfect view.
