How to allow html in short description in product listing

    Hi.
    I am trying to get a full html to be displayed on the product listing page for example on a category page (and all other pages that list products)

    some products show the html ok, but some do not.
    For example this is ok: Fatalii’s SOUTH AMERICA COLLECTION (Chili Seed Kit)
    This is not showing ok in the given url: Fatalii’s Fantastic 4

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hey there!

    To be clear, are you looking to add HTML to the product category pages? You mentioned that sometimes it’s working and sometimes it isn’t – can you please give an example of both?

    Hello.
    In the original post i did already give you an example of both working and non-working item.
    So if you go to the seed kits page (url provided in the original post)
    and browse down or Ctrl+F search for:
    SOUTH AMERICA COLLECTION (Chili Seed Kit)
    This shows the formatted text.

    But if you search Ctrl+F for:
    Fatalii’s Fantastic 4
    it is not showing for example the line breaks that are shown when you go to the product it self.

    So if you compare the product listing https://www.fataliiseeds.net/product-category/seed_kits/
    with the product page https://www.fataliiseeds.net/product/fataliis-fantastic-4/

    and what i need, is to show the full html on both pages, the product listing and the specific product page

    Apologies, I’d been looking for an actual link and missed that you’d listed the names of the products. Thanks for the tutorial on how to search, though! ??

    It sounds like you need the product description HTML to show up on the product archive page, rather than the mostly stripped text that WooCommerce shows by default.

    That’s getting further into the theme modification than I know how to help with – This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

    This is marked as solved but I have the same issue. Could anyone plese provide some guidance? Basically, I want to stop woocommerce from stripping out the html from the short product descriptions.
