How to allow user to be searched with AJAX search function

  • Hi all Guru and Pros,

    I have been searching for this solution for day and night for one week, basically hopeless and wish there’s some pros can share some light on this.

    Basically, what I want to do is a dating platform, therefore I want to have a user form that allow my user to fill in ( sex, gender, description, photos, VIDEO ) *THEN* other visitor can come to my website and AJAX filter the criteria they want to find their interested user.

    In short, can I have a filtering button for this plugin? or any extension i need to integrate with? Thanks!

    I have in fact found a plugin called ” Search & Filter Pro ” that actually allow a cool nice filtering option, please advise if this can be integrated together with Participant Database plugin.

    Something like this will require developing custom code that is specific to your needs. The Participants Database plugin isn’t set up for this kind of thing normally, but it does have the ability to be extended by a developer. So, yes, it’s possible, but you’ll need some coding skills or the help of a developer to make this happen.

    Take a look at the Plugin API. Designing a custom search is quite complex, however, and I don’t have any documentation for that particular thing yet.
