How to alter last item in menu

    Hi there, I’ve customised the navigation with a bit of CSS in my child theme but I am stuck with one little bit that is bothering me more than it should.

    The last item in the menu is meant to look like a button but it takes up the full height of the menu.

    I’d really appreciate it if someone could offer any suggestions on how to shave off a few pixels from the top and bottom without affecting the rest of the navigation.

    I’ve also tried following your advice with regard to the layout of my CSS. If you’ve time I’d appreciate your comments.
