How to assign a featured image even if no images attached?

    HI,
    Thank you for such a wonderful plugin.
    But i need your help to add a default featured image only when no images are attached in the email.
    I have used the settings correctly to show the first image as featured one.

    But when I don’t have any attached images in the email, its not showing any featured image. I tried with some other featured image plugin. No none suits for my need now.

    Another option is to modify your theme to display some image if a featured image isn’t specified.

    Hi Wayne,
    Thank you for the reply.
    I tried with default featured image plugin. But then, it will show a single image for all posts even if I attach an image in email which is meant for featured one. Hence I removed the default featured image plugin.
    I tried attaching an image named a.jpg for all posts that doesn’t contain any other images. But in that case, the media folder was creating a-1.jpg, a-2.jpg etc. for every posts.
    So no workaround yet.
    It will be nice, if I can set a default featured image in Postie settings itself, when there are no images attached in a mail.

    Another option is to create (or have created for you) a custom Postie AddOn that sets the featured image to whatever you want if one isn’t included in the post.

    The other option is to modify your theme to do the same thing.
