    Hi,

Thank you for your great Lazy Blocks plugin ?? !

I would like to use a custom inner block within a custom parent block, so I use your innerBlock field.
But I would also like to choose a specific existing child block at this step; I do not want to let the content contributor choose it, among several others.

Would it be a relevant feature for the Innerblocks field to display (to the right) a new field (just below the field type selection box) for selecting the desired specific block (from all existing blocks) to be nested ?

Or is there a way to force this association or at least a limitation (ie define a list of nested blocks allowed for the parent block) programmatically ?

(As illustration, I need to use a CB ‘Title’ inside several of my GCB.
So I do not want that the use of the field InnerBlocks allows content contributors to insert something else than the CB ‘Title’ in these blocks.)

Thank you in advance for your help !

    Have a nice day,

    Stephane

    Hey Stephane.

I think it is only possible with custom coding, which we don’t provide. We have a task for Pro plugin to extend InnerBlocks possibilities, so this will be only available in the future Pro plugin updates only.

    Hi nK,

    Thank you for this answer!
I was afraid here that Lazy Blocks was not maintained anymore (last updated 6 months ago)…
So I’m very happy to hear that you’re continuing to develop this great plugin and that a Pro version will be available !
    I will watch for it’s release. ??

    Regards,

    Stephane
