How to authenticate with MS Exchange (custom email domain) and MFA enabled?

    Hi guys,

    We are using Microsoft exchange with Exchange Online (Part 1) Licenses using our own custom domain for emails etc. We need to enable MFA by the end of the month. I tried and it seems like there’s no way to create app passwords anymore, no guides work and the app passwords option doesn’t appear any more. Can you advise how to use your plugin with our emails and with MFA enabled ?

    I tried the instructions here https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-other-smtp-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/#hotmail but these options do not work for licensed accounts with custom domain.

    Hi @alekosk,

    Thanks for reaching out! Could you please try following this guide and see whether you can access the “manage app password” seciton.

    If not, you may need to reach out to the Microsoft support and they should be able to assist you further.
